The Position

Roche Diagnostics

Main Tasks:

  • Provide evaluation support in project implementation for hospital lab setting

  • Assist in daily operation activities of Applications Team

Details upon main task

1.Provide pro-active field applications support to CPS customers and internal customers under supervision

  • Execute the system validation plan including lab work, data reporting of clinical chemistry/immunlogy analyzer

  • Validation Study: Precision, Accuracy, Linearity, Correlation, LOBDQ, Carryover, Autodilution, Reference Interval, High Dose Hook, Interference

  • Assist the Applications Specialist to complete the daily tasks

  • Maintain good relationships and collaborate with internal and external customers

 

2. Assist in daily operation activities of Applications Team

  • Engage in projects and taskforces related to business needs

  • Pro-actively feedback challenges encountered at frontline and improvement area related to business to Application Supervisors

Basics Requirements of the Job:

 

Education:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in biomedical science, laboratory science, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related field.

Knowledge:

  • Data handling: Proficiency with Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, charts), basic statistics (mean/SD, CV%, linearity, regression), and data integrity practices.

  • Laboratory basics: Understanding sample handling, pipetting, centrifugation, and basic instrument handling 

 

Bonus:

  • Assay knowledge: Familiarity with immunoassays, clinical chemistry workflows (e.g., ELISA, spectrophotometry, calibration/controls concepts)

  • Stat software EP evaluator, Excel macro function 

 

Language:

  • Cantonese, English and Mandarin

 

Personality:

  • Detail‑oriented, good team player and independent
