What You Will Do:

  • Gain hands-on experience with ES infrastructure, demand management, value management, and compliance practices.
  • Develop project management skills and assist with planning, tracking, and reporting for infrastructure initiatives.
  • Strengthen leadership abilities through mentorship, hands-on responsibilities, and collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Enhance communication and networking skills by engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Learn and apply PMO tools, methodologies, and processes, including the Demand Intake and checkpoint process (training provided).
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation efforts, and present findings and recommendations to leadership.

  • Project Management Exposure: Manage 1-2 projects, depending on size and complexity.
  • Leadership Development: Engage in mentorship programs, training, and leadership discussions.
  • Networking & Communication: Attend team meetings, cross-functional collaborations, and networking events.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (or Google Workspace).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project).
  • Experience with data analysis or reporting.
  • Prior internship or academic project experience related to operations or project management.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
