Overview: 

We will be providing an Internship in a few of our departments. The Intern will utilize their academic and personal skills perform general servicing functions on residential real estate loans. The right candidate will have a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to delivering best in class service.   

The goals of this internship will be to acquire knowledge on Banking. Internships will run during Summer 2023 months for 10-12 weeks. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week.

About You: 

• Customer Service: You will provide support to the primary daily processes and regulatory requirements of the accounting department, including accounts payable, general ledger accounts and general ledger reconcilements.
• Teamwork: Your ability to encourage and exchange creative ideas, to provide practical solutions to problems, will be used to promote innovation.
• Communication: Your effective communication style will be used to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. 

What You Will Learn To Do During This Internship:

• How the processes in assigned department operate
• Duties and roles assigned to a specific department
• Processing functions within the assigned department
• Assisting with the processes and functions within the assigned department.

Project To Be Completed During Internship:

• Each department will complete a specific project relating to functions and processes of the assigned department.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

• Intern is required to be a currentJunior or Senior level university student 
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Advanced Excel, MS Office Suite are required
• Any academic knowledge or focus specific to the assigned department will be a determining  
• Availability to work the Credit Union’s core business hours
