About the Role

About the Role:

The Construction Internship offers a comprehensive opportunity for aspiring professionals to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry within the United States. Interns will actively participate in various phases of construction projects, from initial planning and site preparation to execution and project closeout, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the field. This role is designed to develop practical skills in construction management, safety protocols, and technical operations under the guidance of experienced industry mentors. The intern will contribute to project documentation, assist in coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and support quality control measures to meet project specifications. Ultimately, this internship aims to prepare candidates for successful careers in construction by providing real-world exposure and fostering professional growth in a dynamic work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or work experience in construction or a related industry.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction site safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers and site supervisors in daily construction activities and site inspections.
  • Support the preparation and review of project documentation, including blueprints, schedules, and safety reports.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project progress.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards and help implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure construction work meets design specifications and regulatory requirements.
