Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team for Spring and/or Summer 2026. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world HR experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare organization. The intern will play a key role in a critical HR data migration project, with additional opportunities to support onboarding and employee engagement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the migration of employee file data from SharePoint into UKG, our HR information system, ensuring all records are accurately transferred and organized
  • Review and notate expiration and clearance dates within each employee's documentation during the migration process
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the data migration to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Support the onboarding function on an ad hoc basis, including assisting with new hire paperwork and orientation coordination
  • Participate in employee engagement activities and other HR projects as needed
  • Assist with HR reporting and data tracking using Microsoft Excel

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or associate's program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy — this is essential for this role
  • Comfortable learning and working in new software platforms; familiarity with UKG, SharePoint, and/or Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A genuine interest in HR and a passion for working in a mission-driven environment
