Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring for a Resource Efficiency Intern to support the Hudson Tunnel Program (New York City) for Summer 2026. Parsons' Early Talent Program offers an exciting opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge while working alongside a world-class team of infrastructure experts.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support data collection and analysis related to energy use, materials, waste, and other resource efficiency metrics
• Assist in tracking and reporting key performance indicators for sustainability and resource optimization
• Help review project designs, plans, and procedures for opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impacts
• Prepare charts, dashboards, and summaries to communicate findings to project and management teams
• Conduct background research on best practices, benchmarks, and relevant standards for resource efficiency and sustainability
• Assist with documentation, file organization, and process improvement efforts related to environmental and efficiency initiatives

What Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in one of the following (or a closely related field):
  • Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
  • Civil or other Engineering discipline
  • Data Analytics, Data Science, or Statistics
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (including basic data analysis and charts), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Interest in sustainability, resource efficiency, and/or infrastructure and transportation projects
• Ability to organize and interpret data, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn in a professional environment

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14
