About lemon.markets 🍋
We enable anyone to be an investor. Our mission is to grow investing opportunities for all European customers and businesses. By empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their customers.
lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months.
As part of the dwpbank Group, we share a clear goal: making investing in capital markets more accessible. By combining dwpbank’s long-standing expertise and stability with lemon.markets’ technology-first mindset and speed, we are building a modern, modular securities services ecosystem. Together, we offer faster time-to-market, modular services, and a modern customer experience that helps financial service providers stay competitive and respond more flexibly in a changing market.
Your Mission:
As an Office Management Intern / Working Student, you will take a leading role in making our new office move-in a success and help ensure our day-to-day office operations run smoothly.
This is not a “keep-the-lights-on” role. It’s a hands-on, entrepreneurial opportunity to drive a high-impact project end-to-end: planning, coordinating, executing, and continuously improving how our workplace supports a fast-growing team. You’ll work closely with our leadership and many internal stakeholders, and you’ll learn how a regulated, high-ownership fintech operates behind the scenes.
You will:
Own the office move-in end-to-end:
Coordinate timelines, vendors, deliveries, and all on-site logistics, from the first checklist to the “we’re fully operational” moment.Build and run lightweight office operations:
Set up repeatable processes for office supplies, coordinate employee and visitor access, meeting rooms, mail handling, and general workplace organisation, with a strong bias for simplicity and great employee experience.Manage vendor and stakeholder coordination:
Be the key contact for external service providers (e.g., facility services, cleaning, maintenance, internet, furniture) and align internal teams on needs, priorities, and constraints.Improve how we work in the office:
Identify friction points, propose solutions, and implement improvements. If something is confusing, manual, or unnecessarily slow, you’ll help fix it.Support leadership with ad-hoc initiatives:
Depending on what the business needs, you’ll jump into additional operational topics (e.g., small process rollouts, internal documentation, office communication), always aiming for operational excellence.
Who are you:
You have a background in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Event Management, Facility Management, Operations/Service Management, or a similar area.
You are an entrepreneurial problem solver: you take ownership, think in structured ways, and enjoy turning ambiguity into a clear plan.
You have gained hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., startup, hospitality, operations, events, office/facilities, consulting, or a similarly lean organisation).
You’re comfortable with frequent change and shifting priorities. New information doesn’t stress you; it helps you adjust.
You have a hands-on mentality. You default into action, gather first learnings quickly, and iterate.
You are structured, reliable, and service-minded; you like creating environments where others can do great work.
You communicate clearly and collaborate proactively with different stakeholders.
German is required at a professional level (spoken and written). English proficiency is expected for working in an international team.
How we take care of you:
🚀 Compensation package: Our Interns are compensated at a fixed rate of €2,425 per month.
💎 Make a real impact: Our start-up environment gives you the room to start your career, explore areas outside your role, and build expertise through ownership. As we mature and are backed by dwpbank, we’re adding a layer of resources and expertise you are benefiting from.
🕑 Flexible working hours: We trust people to choose when they work best and avoid a rigid 9 to 5 mindset. You decide on the rhythm that helps you do your best work, with only shared core hours from 12:00 to 16:00 to support collaboration.
🏢 Hybrid work setup: You can work from Berlin within a hybrid model. However, we strongly encourage our internship “lemoneers” to spend at least 3 days or more per week in the office. Being on-site allows you to learn faster, provides a more immersive experience, helps you collaborate more effectively with the team, and ensures you fully benefit from hands-on support.
📈 Grow with us: We take your personal development seriously! You’ll get regular mentorship and stretch opportunities, plus a clear career development framework with frequent feedback conversations so you always know where you stand, and what to do to level up.
🌱 People & culture: You’ll feel our culture in the small things, like polaroids from our lemoneers’ first day, Friday food market strolls at Maybachufer, and our monthly new-joiner breakfast. But also in the bigger things: celebrating the onboarding of new partners, growing our teams, and owning a strong discussion culture.
🏝 Workation: Get out of here! At lemon.markets you can work remotely from anywhere in the EU for up to 10 consecutive days at a time, and up to 60 days per year in total.
As an equal opportunity employer, lemon.markets is committed to building an inclusive workplace. The company welcomes people from all different backgrounds, including age, citizenship, ethnic and racial origins, gender identities, individuals with disabilities, marital status, religions and ideologies, and sexual orientations to apply.
If you feel this role could be a great match for you even if you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you, please apply.
