About the Role

Linklaters employment and incentives practice is looking for an outstanding Italian law student in their final years of university (laureando/a) to join its Milan based team for a four months internship in the Employment team of the Milan office from June 2026.

Our employment and incentives practice advises international and Italian clients on all aspects of employment, pension and labour law, with a focus on top managers' employment contracts and terminations, retention arrangements, remuneration structures, works councils and unions' relations, collective redundancy procedures, as well as any transaction-related employment law. The team also deals with contentious work, especially high value executives and managing directors' termination cases.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • research

  • supporting due diligence processes and data room entry

  • assisting in the preparation of memos and document review

Key requirements:

  • Law degree (currently enrolled in the fourth/fifth year);
  • Excellent academic credentials from an Italian University (please include the list of exams);
  • Strong interest in Labour law;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficiency level in English;
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
