About the Role

The MGF (Maersk Ground Freight) Pricing Analyst supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of transport pricing activities across key accounts and operational flows.

The role combines data management, pricing execution, and analytical support, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and alignment with company pricing strategies. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to build expertise in pricing, analytics, and commercial decision-making within a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pricing Operations & Execution (Core Responsibilities)

  • Execute transactional pricing activities accurately and within deadlines

  • Support the preparation of pricing proposals and customer bids (RFPs)

  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather required information for Procurement to source the right capacity.

  • Follow-up with procurement for on time feedback.

  • Maintain and update pricing data in internal systems (TMS, rates sheet…)

Data Quality & Control

  • Perform routine checks and audits on pricing entries and sales inputs to ensure profitability. Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to the Product Manager

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of pricing data across systems and contracts

  • Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies and guidelines

Stakeholder Support & Communication

  • Act as a point of contact for pricing-related queries from sales, procurement and operations

  • Provide timely updates on pricing requests and highlight potential issues

  • Assist in compiling pricing inputs for sales presentations

Pricing Analysis, Reporting & Improvement (Under Guidance)

  • Assist in analyzing pricing data, including costs, revenues, and margins

  • Support preparation of reports on pricing performance and key KPIs

  • Identify inefficiencies in pricing processes and suggest improvements

  • Contribute to standardization and documentation of pricing procedures

  • Support automation and tool enhancement initiatives where applicable

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, , or related field

  • 0–3 years of experience in pricing, data analysis, finance, or operations (internships included)

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain is a plus

Technical Skills (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables; advanced skills…)

  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools

  • Experience with TMS or pricing systems

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy of pricing data and system updates

  • Timeliness of request processing

  • Quality of data analysis and reporting support

  • Responsiveness to internal stakeholders

  • Contribution to process improvements
