About the Role

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Durham Bulls are seeking a Production & Game Entertainment Intern to assist in delivering an engaging and memorable fan experience at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. 

This internship offers hands-on experience in both creative planning and live event production. The intern will support the development of theme nights, promotions, and in-game entertainment, while also assisting with game day execution alongside the promotions and production team.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES

Game Presentation & In-Game Entertainment

  • Assistin executing all aspects of the in-game experience for Durham Bulls games and events. 
  • Support the implementation of game scripts, including timing, promotions, and entertainment elements. 
  • Learnall aspects of live production,including video board operation,graphics building in Xpression & Ross,camera direction, lighting, sound, mascots, and on-field entertainment.
  • Help coordinate on-field hosts, mascots, and entertainment staff to ensure smooth execution. 
  • Responsible for updating headshots,graphicsand promotions in systems daily for show execution. 
  • Responsible for updating audio withplayerwalk up songs, in game audio and7 pointaudio management.

Promotions, Theme Nights & Fan Experience

  • Assistin brainstorming and developing theme nights, promotions, and in-game features. 
  • Help with the setup and execution of promotional elements during games and events. 
  • Support the integration of sponsor elements into promotions in a fun and engaging way. 

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in gamepromotion,productionandevent management (MLB, MiLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, or collegiate athletics preferred). 
  • Understanding ofthe game of baseball.
  • Workingexperienceof Ross Dashboard, Ross Xpression, Ross Graphic Editor andShoFloor similar systems preferred.
  • Experience in 3play,switchboardand 7-point audiopreferred.  
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, withabilityto manage multiple events simultaneously.

 
COMPENSATION & WORKING EXPECTATIONS:

  • Hourly position.  
  • Relocation expenses will not be covered ifrequiredto relocate.
