Focal Pointe Outdoor Solutions is offering a paid 12-week summer internship at our Hazelwood, Missouri, location designed for students who want hands-on experience across multiple areas of the landscape profession. This program allows you to shadow industry professionals, work alongside experienced crews, and explore different specialties within the company. Each week, you will rotate through different departments before finishing the program in an area that interests you most. This internship is a great opportunity to learn how a professional landscape company operates while developing practical skills you can use in your future career. We strongly encourage college sophomores and juniors to apply.   What You Will Learn: During the summer program you will gain exposure to multiple areas of the business, including: • General horticulture and estate gardening • Weekly landscape maintenance services • Irrigation and technical services • Plant health care • Landscape construction and installation management • Account management and landscape design • Business planning and company operations • A final self selected focus area based on your interests Who Should Apply: This opportunity is ideal for students interested in: • Horticulture • Landscape management • Agriculture • Environmental sciences • Landscape design • Or related outdoor industries   Preferred candidates: • Current college sophomores or juniors • Students working toward a degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field • Individuals who enjoy working outdoors and being physically active • Team players who are eager to learn College internship credit may be available depending on your academic program.   Schedule This is a full time summer internship.
