Contributes to the functional, power and performance, and/or electrical validation of silicon products. Supports debugging, performance analysis, and validation coverage to ensure product readiness and quality. May assist in test automation, data analysis for validation metrics, and the development and implementation of validation infrastructure and test environment used in validation testing. As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.

Work on a variety of hardware and software test planning, development, and execution projects. Code writing for automation and simulation projects. Engage in triage and debug activities to support engineering teams. Gain knowledge of system architecture, system software, and hardware interactions.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering Degree Program or related field.
  • Direct programming experience with Python or C/C++ languages

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • System Verilog experience 
  • Computer/System architecture 
  • Logic analyzers, oscilloscope lab experience 
  • AI/Machine Learning concepts and development

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $77,300.00-104,600.00 USD (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role
