About the Role

Finance Intern in Reporting Team - 12 months Career Starter Program
Location: Warsaw
Hybrid model: 3 days per week from office

Business area

Global Finance Services (GFS) is at the heart of the AZ Finance function. We are accountable to the AZ Group for the design and delivery of high quality, simple to operate transactional finance processes which, combined with exceptional business analysis and insight, enable our customers to focus on AZ's strategic priorities. Our remit covers record to report, procure to pay and order to cash, tax, planning and forecasting and management reporting.

 

Your core accountabilities will include:

  • Preparation of requested ad hoc analysis mainly in Excel and PowerPoint software
  • Participation in month end closing activities
  • Assistance in the forecasting cycles
  • Communication with business and coordination of the processes
  • Verification and improvement of current processes

 

Essential for the role:

  • Financial knowledge (students in their final year of studies or graduates)
  • Experience with Excel and Power Point software
  • Good communication skills & ability to communicate effectively in Polish and English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good analytical skills & eye for detail
  • Ability to work under time pressure and in changing circumstances


The internship will last 12 months.

Please remember that we work in a hybrid scheme, be prepared to work partially office based (minimum 3 days per week).
