Vacation Work

The Super Vacation program is designed to give students work experience on KPMG clients during the busiest seasons of the year- exposing them to practical audit experience, whilst aiding KPMG towards being the most trustworthy and reliable firm. Students will receive sufficient both, training before-hand as well as on the job training, ensuring that this will be a valuable experience for both student and engagement team.

Duration

The program runs between two to three week session, and each student selected will be allocated to the full session by KPMG.

The program timetable consists of 5 days of training with the student being on a client engagement for the remainder of the vacation period

Requirements

Students are required to be enrolled at a SAICA accredited University, and must be studying towards their CA(SA) qualification.

Ability to work under pressure, travelling and meet strict deadlines.

 

Skills and attributes required for the role:

·      Keen interest in Audit backed by the relevant tertiary education/qualification

 

·      A high performing team player who can work independently and contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment

 

·      Ability to be agile and adapt to changing environments, spot problems, and trace to root cause to recommend solutions
