About the Role

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Marketing Lead, the Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the entire department by laying the foundation for its success across marketing, PR and social media efforts. This individual will advance the mission of Vance & Hines / Performance Machine / Progressive Suspension / Burly Brand through organizing digital assets, maintaining physical materials, assisting with website and social media updates, and providing administrative support for events.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Organizes, updates and distributes digital asset library, ensures that all digital marketing content is properly organized and accessible to team members
  • Assists with maintenance and updating with company website(s), which include, but are not limited to: logos, product images, product info and video
  • Maintains promotional item inventory and reorders when necessary upon approval from the Marketing Lead
  • Assists the social media team with community management and ensures social content aligns with each brand’s guidelines
  • Tracks departmental expenses and supports budget organization
  • Provides administrative support to the Marketing Lead for consumer or trade show events
  • Maintains relationships with social media influencers to ensure contract obligations are fulfilled and provide logistical support for promotional orders
  • Provide support to the Design team in maintaining photo / video archives, some photo editing, and some document editing

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Minimum 2 years’ employment experience. Experience in marketing, social media and/or graphic design preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong multitasking skills, time management, and self-starter mentality.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail and follow-up, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Suite.
  • Ability to consistently lift weight up to 25 lbs
