About the Role

Keeper is hiring a bright and talented SEO Intern to assist Keeper’s Global SEO team. Qualified candidates must permanently reside in Ireland. This is a hybrid position for those living within a commutable distance to our Cork, Ireland office, or fully remote for those living outside a commutable distance.

About the Role

The SEO Intern will be mentored by and report to Keeper’s Director of Product Marketing & Search Optimization and will be responsible for supporting the SEO/AI Search team on daily tasks and projects. This is a paid, 3-month internship with the possibility of extension, contingent on company needs and performance. This internship is designed to offer real-world professional experience in SEO.

 

Please note that we do not offer school credit for this internship.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global SEO team with on-site optimization and internal linking across multiple language sites
  • Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to improve organic visibility across regions
  • Create detailed SEO content briefs for writers
  • Exhibit professionalism, strong communication and a drive to learn and improve SEO skills
  • Conduct competitor research to identify opportunities and inform content strategy 
  • Support SEO-driven localization efforts across multilingual sites 

 

Requirements

  • Strong desire to learn and grow in SEO
  • Excellent research, writing and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar is a plus
  • Understanding of keyword research, metadata and basic on-page optimization principles
    Comfortable working with large websites and multilingual content
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field preferred
  • Basic working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Products

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one additional language beyond English, such as German, French, or Dutch
  • Interest in data analysis and the willingness to draw meaningful insights from data
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Curious and proactive mindset to explore new strategies and initiatives to propose and test ideas
  • Basic working knowledge of Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and Microsoft Office Products

  • Background verification vendors (post offer)

Keeper ensures that all our third parties are contractually bound to protect your personal data with adequate safeguards in place.

5. International Transfers

Your data may be accessed by Keeper entities globally as needed for the purposes of hiring and decision making. We protect any such data transfer between Keeper entities using appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.

7. Retention

We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.

Exceptions:

  • You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
  • You're hired (transfers to employee records)

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights and can contact us at the email below to exercise them:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data, subject to applicable law and retention requirements
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent (where applicable)
  • Request data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority

If you become an employee, your rights regarding your employee record are governed by our internal Employee Privacy Notice and certain data will be retained as required under relevant laws such as employment or tax law. 

When you request access to your personal data, some information may be redacted if it includes the personal data of other individuals or information that we must protect in order to preserve their privacy rights.
