About the Role

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

Charles River is committed to delivering market-leading technology. As a Professional Services Operations Intern, you will support the PS Operations team in driving efficiency, scalability and risk excellence across global Professional Services operations in alignment with broader strategic goals.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to how teams operate cross-functionally to deliver for our clients, as well as, work closely with senior internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Professional Services Operations Intern, you will assist the Professional Services Operations team by:

  • Assisting in drafting and maintaining detailed requirement documents for various projects, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.

  • Reviewing SOPs in line with annual refresh program

  • Contributing to month end close activities by coordinating necessary tasks and providing support to ensure adherence to controls and accurate reporting.

  • Preparing weekly reports, providing meaningful analysis of key metrics to support decision making

  • Helping to build and maintain files that provide essential data for management.

  • Reconciling data from multiple systems, identifying discrepancies and working with teams to resolve any issues

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Finance, Technology, Business, or a related discipline.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and solutions.

  • Interest in building strong networking relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
