  • Work with packaging engineers to optimize packaging lines by analyzing equipment performance, enhancing workflows, and reducing waste or downtime.
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new equipment and processes.
  • Participate in equipment validation processes, ensuring that all machinery and systems meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collect and analyze data to support process optimization initiatives, providing recommendations for improvements in production efficiency.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of capital projects, including preparing project documentation, status reports, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all engineering activities.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, or Packaging Engineering preferred) or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of automation systems (PLCs, robotics, control systems) or experience with electrical systems (wiring, troubleshooting) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with packaging machinery and processes in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) or similar engineering tools.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation technologies, such as PLC programming, SCADA systems, or robotics.
  • Familiarity with packaging machinery such as fillers, cappers, or labeling systems.
  • Basic knowledge of capital project management and experience in tracking timelines, costs, and performance.
  • Interest in working in a regulated industry with a focus on quality control and safety standards.

Learning Opportunities:
