About the Role

Aypa Power, a Blackstone portfolio company, is a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable projects that power our communities and cities. We have been at the forefront of energy storage development since our first energy storage project came online in 2018. As a leader in our industry, we have over 22 GW of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable energy projects in development and 33 projects in operation or construction across North America. 

  • Paid, full-time summer internship
  • The internship period is June 8, 2026 - August 14, 2026
  • Must be based in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate for the duration of the internship period  
  • You will be required to work in person from the office located in the Domain 

Responsibilities:

  • Make initial contact with landowners;
  • Manage landowner relations;
  • Create comparative market analysis to determine the market values of properties;
  • Process contract memoranda to record at various courthouses;
  • Assist with project permitting;
  • Assist team with land administrative duties;
  • Assist in entering contract information into Land Administration software;
  • Other duties as assigned or required. 

Key Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or industry equivalent and/or working towards a graduate degree (MBA) is desirable;
  • A strong interest in the renewable energy sector and a passion for decarbonization initiatives;  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to an entrepreneurial environment;
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision; 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tasks efficiently; 
  • A proactive and enthusiastic mindset, with a focus on learning and professional development.
