Job Description

This full‑time summer internship is designed for students who are excited about creative technology, experience design, and building AI‑enabled tools that push the boundaries between digital and live environments. Interns will join small project pods to prototype tools that support creative intelligence, streamline processes, and elevate the overall digital experience of Hartmann Studio’s client events.

We are looking for students who are not only technically curious, but who bring a creative operator mindset. If you’re eager to explore how technology can drive innovation in storytelling, experience design, and large‑scale event production, this is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will be assigned to one or more primary project tracks based on skills and interest:

Project Tracks May Include…

  • Inspiring Brief Kit & Agentic Workflow: Build tools to improve client intake, automate early concept draft generation, and support structured creative workflows.

  • Prompt & Guardrail Engineering: Develop a prompt library and usage guardrails for internal AI‑assisted creative and production processes.

  • Creative Activation Tool: Transform an existing database into an interactive, searchable system with a lightweight UX layer.

  • IC Resource Database: Build a searchable freelance talent database with filters and tags to more efficiently match freelancers with tasks and projects. 

  • Small Language Model Content Tool: Contribute to a custom LLM tool that leverages decades of internal scripts and messaging to support scripting, content development, and knowledge transfer

  • Creative Intelligence Tools: Prototype systems that scale creative output and reduce operational overhead across teams.

  • AI-generated Content Production:  Support production of client deliverables for fall events utilizing Gen AI tool suite.

Qualifications & Technical Interests

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, New Media, HCI, UX, Creative Technology, or a related field

  • Experience or interest in UI/UX design, prototyping, or creative technology

  • Familiarity with backend development, database work, or building internal tools

  • Interest in LLMs, GenAI, or agentic workflows

  • Academic, professional, or personal projects that demonstrate curiosity about creative tech

  • Interest in experience design (digital, live, or hybrid) strongly preferred

  • Ability to connect technical solutions to creative needs

  • Collaborative, iterative work style

  • Strong communication and documentation skills
