We’re seeking a motivated Production Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2026!

 

The Role:

As a Production Engineering Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in new equipment procurement, capacity analysis, and new model launch across our operations. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and shop floor associates to drive real impact—helping us build safer, higher-quality products while enhancing our environmental footprint.

 

This is a unique opportunity to grow your technical skills, gain real-world manufacturing experience, and contribute to Toyota’s legacy of excellence.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Complete a summer project using the PDCA methodology focused on process improvement within the manufacturing facility
  • Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that promote workplace safety and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive productivity and deliver maximum value to our customers.
  • Help implement process controls and standardization efforts that ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Learn and apply Toyota Production System (TPS) principles to improve material flow, inventory management, and lead times.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a technical field with proven, applicable experience
  • Ability to understand layouts and design fixtures and tooling using Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or Catia
  • Prior internship, work experience, or club activity which demonstrates a desire for hands on learning

Wage - $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
