About The Company
"This work is so liberating: to be employed in an organization wherein we have the ultimate freedom to use true principles of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ in our work each day. Having access to all truth and applying it in our daily performance is the most liberating thing I know. This truly is the work of the kingdom of God." —Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work. From the IT professional who develops an app that sends the gospel message worldwide -- to the facilities manager who maintains our buildings, giving Church members places to worship, teach, learn, and receive sacred ordinances, our employees seek innovative ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. They are literally working in the Kingdom. Find your next job within Church employment here: http://careersearch.churchofjesuschrist.org
About the Role

The internship offers valuable in-house design experience across all design disciplines for design students and recent graduates. It offers a practical opportunity to sharpen skills in production, visual design execution, and ideation to create digital visual deliverables, including graphic design, prototypes, photography, web content, PowerPoint presentations, and mobile media graphics. While projects offer meaningful experience, most are produced for internal department use and cannot be shared publicly. However, the intern will gain job-ready soft skills within a large corporate environment, preparing them for a career in the corporate world.

The internship will introduce the intern to the fast-paced world of marketing and internal corporate design, with a focus on publishing internal communications content. The intern will contribute, learn, and grow in their field of study, preparing them for potential employment. The intern should be strategic-minded and apply that strategy to the design deliverables.

The intern will work under the direction of the Manager of Branding and Marketing Messaging, an award-winning Marketer and Creative Director with over 25 years of experience in the design and marketing industry.

This one-year hybrid internship in Salt Lake City is NOT a fully remote position.
