We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team this summer. This is a hands-on opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance to gain real-world experience in core accounting functions, including cash reconciliation, accounts receivable, and process improvement initiatives. You’ll work closely with our accounting team and make a direct impact on the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and credit card reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies

• Manage accounts receivable for fleet customer accounts, including recording payments, reconciling customer statements, and following up on outstanding balances

• Support the sales audit process, reviewing transactions for accuracy and compliance

• Assist in identifying and implementing accounts receivable and sales audit process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Maintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company procedures

• Collaborate with team members to support day-to-day accounting operations as needed

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a part-time schedule

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
