POSITION SUMMARY
PRO*ACT is looking for a motivated Procurement Intern who is eager to learn and develop within the fresh produce industry. This internship offers hands-on exposure to purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory coordination, and market dynamics in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Assist the procurement team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Coordinate information between procurement, operations, and accounting teams
- Help compile simple reports and spreadsheets related to orders and inventory
- Assist with special projects as needed to support the department
- Gain exposure to how market conditions, seasonality, and quality impact purchasing decisions

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in agriculture, supply chain, or the fresh produce industry
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a related program (preferred but not required)
