About the Role

An intern will be responsible for supporting the execution and implementation of system enhancements and projects within Life Operations.

  • Gather business requirements through stakeholder engagement to ensure system solutions meet user needs.

  • Plan UAT activities by translating requirements into clear test scenarios for effective validation.

  • Execute and document UAT tests to verify system accuracy and completeness within set timelines.

  • Analyse data and requirements to design simple system solutions that address business gaps.

  • Resolve UAT defects by working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely issue closure.

  • Report UAT progress and risks to support informed decision-making and project control.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures accurately.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Flexibility thinking in executing UAT.

  • Willingness to learn

  • Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies is a plus

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the internship, the intern will have gained a foundational understanding of the insurance business and be familiar with the basic functions of the policy administration system at AIA. They will be capable of independently conducting user acceptance testing, comprehending business requirements, documenting test results, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that system enhancements align with business needs and quality standards.
