YOUR TEAM

The Architecture & Cross Technologies unit is responsible for all E3 architectures (E³ 1.1 and 1.2) and the relevant technologies as a cross-sectional function along the CARIAD SE domains as well as within the governance role for the overall VOLKSWAGEN AG Group. Within this scope, the TX has development and release responsibility for the E³ architectures and the system & networking functions as well as diagnosis tecnology. 

The Architecture & Cross Technologies Operations (TX-Z) team handles key tasks for the TX departments, such as Ressource- and Portfoliomanagement and coordinates the efficiency program. 

In your role you will gain exciting experience in project management and the coordination Budgetprocesses. You’ll work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and governance—driving innovation and efficiency across CARIAD and the Volkswagen Group. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Drive end-to-end budget planning and controlling (TX budget) ensuring transparency, cost efficiency, and spend optimization 
  • Support the strategic and operational portfolio management across TX  including budget steering and financial governance 
  • Responsible for the conceptual design and preparation of presentations/reports as well as the tracking of tasks and open points 
  • Tracking various project status in close collaboration with stakeholders (TX departments, suppliers, and the CARIAD project management team) 
  • Support in developing strategies for target achievement 
  • Participating in (and potentially moderating) regular meetings with TX departments and suppliers 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled student in the area of economics or (industrial) engineering (Bachelor or Master) or a related subject 
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Think Cell and Excel 
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence 
  • Structured and independent work style and a hands-on mentality 
  • Fluent German and basic English skills (some coordination will take place in English) 
  • Optional: Willingness to travel nationally (Berlin, Wolfsburg, Ingolstadt) for 1-2 business trips per quarter 

NICE TO KNOW

  • Remote work options within Germany                               
  • Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years)
  • 20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break
  • Salary: 17,80€/hour
