Leidos’ Defense Systems Rapid Integration and Prototyping Department is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team. You will get the opportunity to help design and document important technologies for our customers with support from a great team willing to mentor and assist you through the process. Your work directly impacts national defense by enhancing and providing situational awareness for service members in varied environments around the world.

Primary Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and working within multi-discipline teams to develop hardware for our customers.
- The candidate will, with mentorship and assistance, produce technical data packages including part drawings, assembly drawings, source control documents, and interface control documents per ASME Y14.
Basic Qualifications
- Enrolled in BS degree in Engineering at Junior or Senior level.
- Must be US Citizen and able to obtain and/or maintain a Secret clearance.
- 0+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
