Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. The Finance AI-Strategy Intern will work onsite between 20-25 hours per week Monday to Friday in our New York office. Lunch and transportation allowance are provided.

Role Summary: The Finance AI-Strategy Intern provides support to our Finance & Accounting department, and assists in financial engineering with the use of AI tools.

Responsibilities:

• Support department efforts in designing, implementing, and optimizing AI use for finance daily operations
• Assist in researching for new AI-driven processes, keeping in alignment with payment processing industry standards and best practices
• Assist with configuring, testing, and validating AI features in Finance daily operations and tasks 
• Work closely with the Data Analyst to analyze performance data and identify trends; present insights and proposals to senior finance members 
• Identify potential AI risks and mitigation strategies to ensure projects align with company goals
• Assist in other tasks as assigned by the Finance department 

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire. We are an E-Verify employer!
• Analytical mindset and comfort working with complex systems 
• Ability to work in fast-paced technical environments
• Currently in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Prior experience with data analytics and automation tools
• Prior experience or coursework in AI tools, concepts, strategies, and implementations.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to work on projects from design to execution
