This internship is ideal for someone looking to build a foundation in supply chain, procurement, and data analysis. The Supply Chain Intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure material availability, support cost tracking, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. This position is 100% onsite.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><strong>About the job</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Milpitas, CA [Onsite]</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Employment type:</strong> Internship</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Department:&nbsp;</strong>Supply Chain</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Report To:</strong> Supply Chain Manager</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Support material planning and shortage analysis across active programs</li><li>Track and follow up on supplier commits (ETD/ETA) to ensure continuity of supply</li><li>Analyze inventory, excess &amp; obsolete (E&amp;O), and demand alignment</li><li>Assist in cost tracking (PPV, freight, sourcing options)</li><li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams (purchasing, planning, logistics, warehouse)</li><li>Build and maintain Excel, Power BI, or other business analysis tools to optimize processes</li><li>Support expedite actions and recovery plans for critical shortages</li></ul><div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div><div><strong>Education/Qualification</strong></div><ul><li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field</li></ul><div><strong>Experience</strong></div><ul><li>Has internship experience in related field is a plus</li></ul><div><strong>Skills/Competencies</strong></div><div><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></div><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and organization</li><li>Clear communication and teamwork</li><li>Good time management and prioritization</li><li>Problem-solving and critical thinking</li><li>Adaptability in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn</li></ul><div><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></div><ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)</li><li>Basic knowledge of supply chain and inventory planning concepts</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus</li><li>Experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is a plus</li><li>Ability to analyze data and generate reports</li><li>Basic understanding of cost tracking (PPV, freight) is a plus</li></ul><div><strong><br></strong></div><div>The expected pay rate for this position is <strong>$22.00 - $25.00</strong> depending on specific skills and work experience.</div>
