Overview:
As a motivated and outgoing individual interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales and the telecommunications industry. As a Blackfoot Communications Sales Intern, you will learn about our business, culture and systems, work alongside experienced professionals, connect with customers, and help promote high-speed internet and communication services that power homes and businesses in our communities.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Use dynamic sales strategies to conduct outbound calls, engage current customers, and assist in service renewals.
· Identify potential opportunities for additional services and hand-off to an Account Executive when appropriate.
· Engage and qualify new prospects through a variety of outreach methods, including cold calls, emails, social channels, door-to-door efforts, local events, and community engagement.
· Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to help develop, promote, and execute marketing campaigns aimed at increasing market share.
· Accurately collect and verify customer contact and business information, ensuring our system data is up-to-date and accurate.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Support special projects and community outreach events as needed.
· Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to support the overall sales and marketing goals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
· Sales and marketing strategies, business development, and customer relationship building
· Basic time management and organizational best practices
Skills to:
· Communicate ideas clearly and confidently, both in-person and virtually
· Analyze and report on data, including generating sales activity reports
· Stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to:
· Connect with customers and represent the company professionally
· Work both independently and collaboratively with a team
· Meet outbound contact goals and adapt to feedback
· Think analytically and offer creative problem-solving solutions
· Communicate professionally through written and verbal interactions
· Meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
· Maintain confidentiality and support a positive team culture
· Maintain a valid Montana driver’s license, clean driving record, and meet Company insurance requirements
