About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Engineering team as an Engineering Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, assisting engineers in the research, design and development phases of aircraft cabin interior reconfigurations and aircraft modifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Engineering and a desire to learn and grow within the field. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create step-by-step work instructions for the removal and installation of hardware and components as they relate to aircraft structures, systems, interiors and avionics.
  •  Create engineering fabrication and installation drawings using AutoCAD or similar software programs.
  • Review progress with management and recommend corrective action along with review of alternatives.
  •  Apply area of degree focus (aero, mechanical, electrical) to design, develop and implement creative and innovative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Perform such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct.
  • Ensure adequate and continuous controls are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality.
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
  •  Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $19.32 to $23.77 hourly. This range reflects the base pay for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
