2027-05-31JOB PURPOSE:
This student position leads Lewis & Clark's Third Culture Kid group on campus and assists the International Students & Scholars office with outreach to prospective TCKs and TCK organizations worldwide.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support efforts to recruit, retain, and support Third Culture Kids (TCKs)
- Maintain TCK database, website, social media, and listserv
- Establish and maintain an academic year calendar for TCK activities
- Coordinate meetings and events, such as the ISS/TCK Student reception, TCK Board meetings, TCK group activities (especially TCK Tuesday), the TCK Symposium, Conversation Partners, ISS/TCK Senior Recognition
- Work with LC PubCom to write articles featuring TCKs and their activities
- Assist with updates to the TCK recruiting materials
- Coordinate with other Student Affairs offices on mentoring; International Job and Internship Fair, career events for TCKs, RA training regarding TCKs, etc.
- Work closely with staff on the implementation of programs for the Akin Multicultural theme floor and Multicultural Fair
- Coordinate the Conversation Partner program for AES students
- Assist as needed with the organization of the International Fair
- Work with Resident Advisors to ensure appropriate level of educational and social programming opportunities in the residence halls
RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS DIVERSITY:
- Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.
SCHEDULE:
5 hours per week, to be agreed upon with supervisor
RATE OF PAY:
$16.30/Hour

Eligibility to Work
In order to comply with US Homeland Security Department regulations, all employees must complete an I-9 form in Workday prior to or no later than the first day of work and bring originals (no photocopies) of their supporting documentation to Human Resources no later than the 3rd business day of employment. Failure to have a completed I-9 form on file with the College will result in immediate termination of employment.
