About the Role

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager, Facility & Terminal Operations, the Administrative Assistant, Facilities, will embark on a summer project to document details of FMAA’s mechanical equipment and components for lifecycle and responsive maintenance needs. They’ll work alongside the Operations Coordinator to prioritize equipment, then take photos and add technical specifications in the internal cataloguing system.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support FMAA’s Facility Maintenance by:

  • Walking the business to gain pictures and technical details about FMAA’s mechanical equipment, components, assemblies, and machinery.
  • Cataloguing FMAA’s equipment and subsequent details in a central work order system through updating inventory and details about each component.
  • Creating an inventory of equipment categories and prioritizing which to catalogue in order based on impact to the facility and organization.
  • Other related duties and projects as required, including

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education. 
  • Eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs Grant program. 
  • Holds a valid Class 5 driver’s license (required).
