Be part of a regional coverage team supporting corporate lending activities across diverse industries. As an intern within Regional Coverage, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how Relationship Managers support corporate clients through research, financial analysis, and ongoing portfolio management. This role offers a strong foundation in corporate banking, combining analytical work with stakeholder engagement and real-world learning.

What you do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Industry & Company Research: conduct research on industries, companies, or corporate groups to support coverage and credit assessments
• Financial Analysis: assist with financial analysis, including cash flow projections and performance assessments
• Covenant Monitoring: support covenant assessment and ongoing monitoring for corporate lending portfolios
• KYC / CDD & Sustainability Support: assist with Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and sustainability assessments
• Projects & Events: participate in ad‑hoc departmental projects, initiatives, or events as required

Who you work with

You’ll be part of the Regional Coverage team within Global Corporate Banking, working closely with Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders across regions and sectors. The team collaborates to support client relationships, manage lending portfolios, and deliver responsible banking solutions.

Who you are

• An Undergraduate student, preferably pursuing Finance, Accounting, or related modules
• Interested in corporate banking, lending, and financial analysis
• Analytical, organised, and attentive to detail
• Comfortable working with numbers, documents, and presentations
• A clear communicator who is able to engage stakeholders professionally
• Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

• Understanding of corporate lending businesses across different industries and regions
• Hands-on experience in financial analysis, cash flow projection, and covenant monitoring
• Exposure to KYC, CDD, and sustainability assessment processes
