As a Corporate Finance Intern within Global Investment Banking, you’ll be part of a dynamic team advising clients on significant transactions such as IPOs, capital raisings, and M&A. What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Transaction Exposure: Support the team across a range of corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, capital markets activities, and M&A advisory

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct industry and company research to support deal origination and execution work

  • Deal Materials: Assist in preparing transaction-related materials such as pitchbooks, teasers, presentations, and information memoranda

  • Financial Modelling & Valuation: Support financial modelling, valuation analyses (e.g. DCF, comparables), and due diligence activities

  • Database & Team Support: Utilise financial information databases and provide general support to the team as required

Global Investment Banking provides strategic financing and advisory solutions to corporates, institutions, and sponsors. The Corporate Finance team works closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes across transactions. You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing team where learning is accelerated through hands-on involvement and close mentorship.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree

  • Strong interest in corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields

  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work independently

  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Prior working experience is an advantage

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • Understanding of corporate finance products, processes, and transactions

  • Experience in industry and company research and analysis

  • Exposure to preparation of professional transaction and presentation materials

  • Development of financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills

  • Hands-on use of financial information databases (e.g. Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, MergerMarket)
