The Position

Role Purpose

  • The objective of this internship is to provide a student or recent graduate with the opportunity to practically apply academic learning within a Roche setting. You will gain valuable insight into the Roche organization and our unique R&D culture while supporting the Immunology team in the discovery and development of transformative, life-changing medicines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research Support: Assist scientists in executing immune cell functional assays, including cytokine profiling (Luminex/BCA), and immune cell activation/phenotyping using multi-color Flow Cytometry (FACS), etc.

  • Analysis & Reporting: Conduct rigorous data analysis of experimental results and prepare technical presentations for internal meetings. Actively contribute to the discussion of next steps and follow-up activities.

  • Data Integrity: Ensure comprehensive and timely documentation of all experimental findings in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN), adhering to global data integrity and lab safety standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Bachelor’s degree program in Immunology, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or a related Life Sciences discipline.

  • Technical Interest: A passionate interest in translating academic knowledge of innate and adaptive immunity into innovative drug discovery work.

  • Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential.

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail, a proactive learning attitude, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic laboratory environment.
