About the Role

Description

The Marketing & Sales Internship is an entry-level position that give candidates the opportunity to learn and grow in the marketing industry, helping to implement various marketing strategies and perform administrative tasks. The Edmunds GovTech Sales & Marketing Intern will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Marketing team to establish the following goals. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

  • Update data in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Salesforce
  • Complete marketing driven phone calls to ensure accurate data is reflected on customer and prospect accounts
  • Assisting with website/content updates in our Content Management System (CMS), WordPress
  • Assisting with organizing, registering, and planning events and conferences
  • Assisting with promotional item orders and advertising opportunities
  • Maintaining and updating marketing campaign folders and assets, including data management and clean up
  • Researching relevant industry topics for advertising opportunities, content, blog posts, webinar channels, and social media
  • Attending, documenting, and reporting meeting minutes
  • Researching digital marketing and industry trends to make recommendations for the continued improvement of the digital marketing and sales strategy as appropriate
  • Performing other miscellaneous tasks relevant to sales and marketing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree Program, preferably in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Journalism, Management, Communications or a related field

Team-oriented with a positive and ambitious can-do demeanor

Takes initiative to support new projects/tasks and learn new skills

Proven experience Microsoft Office

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and deadlines

Creative, innovative, and strategic problem solver

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Pardo, Salesforce, Wordpress, SharePoint, and/or Onedrive

Prior experience building and deploying emails

Basic HTML knowledge
