Jupiter is thrilled to launch its 2026 Summer Internship Program! This will be a 10-week paid program starting June 8, 2026 and is open to rising college juniors and seniors who have an interest in renewable energy. To be eligible, candidates must be actively enrolled in a 4+ year bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027. Qualified candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be willing to work out of one of our Jupiter Power offices 4+ days per week throughout the Program.
The 2026 Summer Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience from a leading company in the battery energy storage market.
We are currently accepting applications for an intern to work with our Regulatory Compliance team in Houston, TX. This individual will work alongside a team of talented developers and will gain the following experience:
- Support regulatory governance activities, including policy updates, procedure maintenance, and reviews.
- Participate in monitoring and implementation of North American Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards. Develop skills in implementing security measures to protect critical infrastructure assets.
- Learn the principles of risk assessment and risk management specific to NERC CIP in the energy industry..
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts across Cybersecurity, Operational Technology (OT)/SCADA, IT Networking, Physical Security, Operations, and Change Management to validate compliance implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (in pursuit) in Cyber Security, Engineering, Business, or related field with 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with varied interests and backgrounds
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Compensation offered will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the candidate within the range of $35/hr to $40/hr. This role will be based in Houston, TX working in the office from Mondays through Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
