RTX BBN Technologies' Cambridge, MA office has a short-term need for an intern to support technical staff.

What You Will Do

During this 4-week internship, you will learn about several areas including artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomy, cyber security, supercomputing, imaging and computer vision, decision support, biotechnology and applied biosciences. You will also participate in a variety of technical support activities during your assignment. You will also get exposure to rudimentary research to include software development, prototype development, test and evaluation, documentation and project management.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must be recent a high school graduate registered for college by the time the assignment begins in the summer of 2026.
  • Minimum high school grade point average of 3.0.
  • Coursework in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
  • U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
