About the Role

Visual Merchandising Intern
May-August (Flexible)
 

Bachman's is seeking a motivated Visual Merchandising Intern with a strong interest in retail merchandising and product presentation, particularly within garden center and gift categories. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creatively driven, and naturally curious, with a professional attitude and a collaborative mindset. This role requires someone who enjoys working with others, communicates effectively, and contributes positively to a team environment. If you’re passionate about creating engaging retail displays and eager to learn in a hands-on setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Duties:
  • Communicate with customers and employees
  • Set new products, execute objectives on a timeline and meet deadlines
  • Able to follow directions, ability to operate with ambiguity
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a marketing, business, communications, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to think creatively
  • Organized, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to tasks and learning
  • Passion for retail merchandising and presentation
  • Ability to lift 25 lb
  • Horticulture, garden center or gift product interest preferred

Schedule:
  • M-F 8:30-430pm, May-August, on-site 
Compensation: $18.00/hr
