HR Intern – Hiring & Onboarding 

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources team with recruiting and onboarding for both our manufacturing facility and sales office in Salt Lake City. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a career in HR who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Recruiting Support
    • Assist with posting job openings across job boards and internal channels
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach
    • Schedule interviews with hiring managers across manufacturing and sales teams
    • Maintain applicant tracking data and ensure timely communication with candidates
  • Onboarding & New Hire Experience
    • Prepare onboarding materials, welcome packets, and training schedules
    • Coordinate new hire orientations for both office and manufacturing roles
    • Ensure completion of required documentation, background checks, and compliance forms
    • Support Day 1 activities, facility tours, and introductions
  • HR Operations & Projects
    • Help maintain employee files and HR documentation
    • Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and process improvements
    • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

What You Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Interest in recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations
  • Comfort working in both office and manufacturing environments
