About the Role

 

Job Summary:

This Intern position will report to the customer service and analytics manager and support data integrity, reporting, automation testing, and customer experience operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized intern to assist with maintaining the accuracy of databases, pulling and organizing data, testing automation workflows, troubleshooting chatbot issues, and supporting quality assurance efforts. This internship offers practical experience in data management, operational reporting, automation testing, and process improvement. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

 

Location:

· The role will be remote, but will require some travel to Southlake, TX.

 

Employment Classification:

· Non-Exempt: Temporary, Full-time

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· None

 

Duties / Responsibilities:

· Accurately enter new data into designated databases and systems from various sources.

· Review existing data for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.

· Perform data cleaning and correction tasks to ensure data quality and accuracy.

· Verify data by comparing it to source documents.

· Assist in pulling, organizing, and validating data for reporting and analysis initiatives.

· Support data integrity efforts by identifying inconsistencies across systems and assisting in resolution.

· Assist in testing and validating automation workflows within chatbot and voice platforms (e.g., Cognigy).

· Perform quality assurance checks on automated customer interactions to ensure accuracy and proper functionality.

· Identify, document, and assist in troubleshooting issues within chatbot and automation flows.

· Monitor automation performance and flag issues or inconsistencies requiring correction.

· Collaborate with leadership to support process improvements related to customer experience and operational efficiency.

· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

· Collaborate with team members to resolve data-related and system-related issues.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education and / or Experience:

· Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field) or recent graduate.

 

Required Skills / Abilities:

· Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

· Ability to learn new systems, tools, and platforms quickly.

· Strong data entry and data validation skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

· Analytical thinking with the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, and trends in data.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

· Ability to follow structured processes while also adapting to changing priorities.

· Interest in data analysis, automation, customer experience, or process improvement.

· Familiarity with automation tools, chatbot platforms, or quality assurance/testing processes is a plus.

• Work Environment: The work environment is fast paced, but the employee will be working indoors at a PC most of the time.
