About the Role

Name of the Project: Internal Communications and Events Intern

Vice Presidency: Digital & Organization Development

Region: Central

Intern’s Location (Office): Margain Offices

 

Eligible Semester(s): 7th - 8th semester

Careers of Interest: Comunication, Marketing, Graphic Design, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources

Schedule Availability: Between 25 and 30 hours per week

Period of Stay at CEMEX: 6 months, with the option of renewal

Detailed Description of the Project

 

Project Objective

The intern will be part of the Culture team for the Central region, supporting the creation and coordination of internal communication messages, content, and channels (such as digital screens, emails, and other internal media).

You will also collaborate in the organization of corporate events, participating in administrative, logistical, and follow-up activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out

  • Supporting the creation, compilation, and drafting of content for internal communications.
  • Managing and updating content on digital screens, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to the area’s processes.
  • Collaborating in the planning, logistics, and execution of corporate events.
  • Following up with suppliers and coordinating deliverables.
  • Contributing creative ideas to strengthen internal communication and employee engagement.

 

Specific Requirements / Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organization and attention to detail.
  • Proactivity and willingness to learn.
  • Teamwork and a collaborative mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of Office 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe tools (Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Desirable: Basic knowledge of design or digital communication tools (Canva, Viva Engage, etc.).
