Role Overview: 

Join Maxis as a Social & Activation Intern and gain hands-on experience in creating impactful brand experiences and community-driven initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our marketing team, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of exciting campaigns, on-ground activations, and social engagement efforts. You will contribute to real-time campaign delivery, content creation, stakeholder coordination, and post-event analysis while gaining valuable exposure to the fast-paced world of brand marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Ground Support: Assist in the logistical setup and onsite management of brand activations, pop-up events, and community engagements to ensure smooth execution.

    Content Coordination: Capture real-time social media content (photos/videos) during events and coordinate with creative teams to align outputs with campaign narratives.

    Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison: Support communication with vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure production materials and assets are delivered on schedule.

    Performance Tracking: Help compile data and insights from activations, including attendance figures and social media engagement, to support post-campaign reporting and recommendations.

    Market Research: Conduct research on social media trends, competitor campaigns, and activation ideas to inspire fresh concepts for upcoming projects.

    Campaign Shadowing: Work closely with project leads to gain exposure to the end-to-end lifecycle of campaigns, learning both strategic planning and operational execution.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with familiarity in Microsoft Excel or project tracking tools being an advantage.

  • Digital Savvy: Strong understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, including awareness of current digital trends.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment, including occasional onsite support during weekends or events.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
