Role Overview

This position requires the skills to complete a variety of tasks, including development of proposals, process improvement, and sales support.  Duties include coordination and communication between other Commercial Operations team members, sales, engineering, and implementation/operations teams.  Must possess the ability to work with multiple departments under pressure and meet short deadlines.  Requires good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to create, follow, and explain written procedures.    

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports marketing initiatives, including but not limited to: competitive database development, Mitsubishi Power process and procedure development, market research, forecasting and market pricing.  
  • Provides proposal support for Regional Sales Managers, Product Line Managers, and other members of the sales and marketing team to create winning proposals.   
  • Coordinate the development of deal pricing and leads Grants of Authority (GOA) approval meetings with appropriate Mitsubishi Power management. 
  • Supports organization to develop and/or prepare for presentations, meetings, customer visits, and shop tours as required. 
  • Continually evaluates the timely adjustment of communication strategies and plans to meet changing company, market and competitive conditions.  
  • Produces sales and marketing reports and provides necessarily follow up to assure information provided to management is accurate. 
  • Works with financial departments to ensure corporate policies regarding sales and marketing are protected and applied. 
  • Leads process improvement efforts as assigned. 
  • Manages special assignments. 
  • Perform other duties as may be required. 
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources. 
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. 
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees.

  • This position requires being enrolled in a college or university in a program with a focus on Engineering or Business. 
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software, PowerPoint and Word Processing software, PowerBi, Customer Relationship Manager software is preferred.
