What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dashboard Development & Migration: Support the creation, maintenance, and migration of business dashboards to Power BI, including documenting process flows

  • Data Preparation & Analysis: Assist with data extraction, preparation, manipulation, and analysis using non‑sensitive datasets

  • Business & Industry Insights: Conduct studies and research using internal, external, and industry data sources to support business insights and opportunity identification

  • Advanced Analytics Support: Research and propose potential data science or analytical methodologies to enhance existing analytics work

  • Testing & Project Support: Support testing, improvement, and ad‑hoc activities related to data and analytics applications

Who You Work With

The GWB Data Analytics team partners closely with business units across Global Commercial Banking to deliver reliable reporting, analytics, and insights. The Data Production & MIS function focuses on building scalable dashboards, improving data processes, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making. You’ll work in a collaborative environment with analysts and stakeholders who value curiosity, accuracy, and continuous learning.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree

  • Interested in data analytics, business intelligence, or applied data projects

  • Prior exposure to data analysis concepts or projects is preferred

  • Comfortable with programming languages such as Python and SQL

  • Familiarity with dashboarding tools (e.g. Power BI) is an advantage

  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively on projects

Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  • Hands‑on experience developing and migrating BI dashboards

  • Exposure to the complete data analysis project lifecycle
