Role Overview

• The Construction Intern supports the project and site teams in delivering large-scale data center developments
• You will gain hands-on exposure to construction management, coordination, and technical systems involved in hyperscale facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily site coordination with contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Support project documentation: reports, drawings, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress tracking
• Monitor construction progress and help ensure alignment with project schedules
• Participate in site inspections to check quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Help track materials delivery and inventory on site
• Support health, safety & environmental (HSE) compliance activities
• Assist in coordination of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems, including power, cooling, and network infrastructure
• Attend project meetings and prepare minutes / action logs

Learning Exposure

• Data center design & construction lifecycle
• High-reliability infrastructure (power redundancy, cooling systems)
• Vendor and contractor management
• Construction planning and scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project)
• Site safety practices in mission-critical environments

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
• Basic understanding of construction or engineering principles
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to work on-site

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Familiarity with AutoCAD / BIM tools
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure
• Ability to read engineering drawings

Work Environment

• Combination of construction site and office / project meetings
• Fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
• Exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects
