Job Description:

Build your expertise in derivatives and financial control

Are you interested in financial markets, data reconciliation, and trading operations? Do you enjoy working with large datasets and identifying discrepancies?

We are offering an internship within our Paper Controlling team, where you will support reconciliation, reporting, and analysis of derivatives trading activities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Trade & Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile trades and cash flows between internal trading systems (ETRM) and clearing house statements

  • Data Validation: Ensure accuracy and consistency between trading system data and external clearing data

  • Accounting Support: Prepare monthly derivative journal entries and support balance sheet reconciliations

  • Discrepancy Analysis: Identify mismatches, investigate root causes, and support resolution

  • Audit Support: Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to improving and streamlining reconciliation and reporting processes

  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Support the team with data analysis and reporting as needed

What we are looking for:

  • Degree (completed or ongoing) in Accounting, Finance, or Business Information Technology

  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets

  • Good understanding of financial data and interest in derivatives markets

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Flexible, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks

  • Team player with a proactive approach
