About the Role

Description

Vistra Communications is seeking a motivated and creative Communications/Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer. This is a hands-on, part-time internship designed to provide real-world experience in a fast-paced agency environment.

As an intern, you will support active client projects and collaborate with experienced professionals across public relations, marketing and digital communications. This role offers the opportunity to build practical skills, contribute to meaningful work and gain exposure to integrated communications campaigns.

Content & Campaign Support

· Assist in developing content for social media, marketing materials and client communications 

· Support execution of marketing and communications campaigns 

· Contribute ideas during brainstorming and strategy sessions 


Research & Analysis

· Conduct research for client projects, including industry trends, audience insights and competitive analysis 

· Monitor media and social media activity as needed 

· Assist with reporting and compiling campaign results


Design & Creative Support

· Assist with basic graphic design projects using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (as applicable) 


Project Coordination & Operations

· Support project organization, timelines and internal documentation 

· Assist with maintaining databases and tracking project tasks 

· Provide general administrative support for client services team 


Additional Duties

· Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions and agency events 

· Assist with special projects as assigned 

Requirements

Qualifications

· Current junior or rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field 

· Strong written and verbal communication skills 

· Highly organized with attention to detail 

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

· Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) 

· Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus 


Additional Details

· Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week) 

· Duration: Summer internship (Dates are flexible based on academic schedules, with a typical duration of 10–12 weeks.) 

· Location: Lutz, FL (in-office)
