Internship Description:

The intern will support the Salesforce Operations team by assisting with data clean-up, report updates, and other administrative tasks. They will gain experience working with Salesforce, focusing on improving data accuracy, optimizing reports, and streamlining processes to help the sales team work more efficiently. This position provides an opportunity to learn about CRM systems, data management, and how to support a sales organization’s operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with data clean-up and ensuring data accuracy in Salesforce.
  • Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks, such as updating records, managing workflows, and maintaining user accounts.
  • Assisting with lead assignments within Salesforce.
  • Help streamline processes to reduce manual tasks for the sales team.
  • Data entry and record updates.
  • Providing general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating team activities.

Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks and priorities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to take on administrative tasks and support team needs.
  • A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for improving processes.

Compensation:

Working Conditions

  • This position is 20 hours/week
  • This internship is based in the Washington, DC office
  • Interns MUST be in the office on designated team days (3 days a week) and specifically on Wednesdays for cohort touch base.
